    ID.me is searching for a results-oriented VP of Marketing to join our leadership team and lead the overall marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will excel at demand generation, product marketing, and sales enablement for B2B products. 

    ID.me’s product supports multiple verticals, including Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, and E-Commerce. A successful candidate will be a marketing athlete capable of supporting the needs of different vertical owners. Strong product marketing skills are necessary to be successful in this role.

    This individual will be a strong communicator, with a knack for distilling complex ideas and technology with simplicity and clarity.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    B2B Marketing

    • Generate qualified leads in target verticals.
    • Build an outbound demand generation team.
    • Position ID.me as an identity industry thought leader across target verticals: Government, Healthcare, Financial Services and E-Commerce.
    • Produce clear and persuasive product marketing collateral such as sales presentations, product demonstrations, case studies, white papers, webinars, and similar to educate target buyers and influencers about ID.me’s differentiated value proposition.
    • Oversee company participation at industry events - lead strategy, planning and execution across 10-20 industry events per year.

    Sales Operations

    • Implement and oversee processes for reporting, quota setting, and management, sales process optimization across verticals, working closely with finance and sales vertical leads.

     

    Analytics & Insights

    • Own market & competitive research agenda to effectively segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition, and implement best market entry strategy.
    • Deepen organizational understanding of user behavior and LTV with robust customer and product analytics.

     

    Marketing Leadership & Management

    • Promote learning and data-driven mindset within team to seek to optimize and improve efficiency with every marketing initiative.
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing and broader company initiatives. This role partners closely with all departments – sales & business development, product, engineering, member support, finance.
    • Manage B2B marketing budget and measure ROI of marketing initiatives, critically evaluate success and facilitate continual improvement.
    • Manage external agencies and relationships with marketing services.
    • Own brand guidelines and build tools to ensure consistent and cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Deep understanding of SaaS marketing, and "land and expand" B2B sales
    • 10+ years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on expansion and identifying emerging market trends
    • Demonstrated success at a high growth startup of 50+ people
    • Proven mastery of marketing principles, demand generation, brand, and sales and business development
    • Experience working with a variety of marketing and communications functions, including branding and messaging to different target audiences
    • Proficiency at all aspects of email marketing, online advertising, and working with the press and other media
    • Familiarity with identity, authentication, and/or cybersecurity
    • Bachelor's degree, MBA is preferred
