• VP of Digital Commerce

  • Overview is searching for a results-oriented VP of Digital Commerce to join our leadership team. This executive will act as a general manager for’s group verification sales and for Shop,’s affiliate marketing site that drives revenue for group verification clients. The ideal candidate will be capable of closing sales greater than 250k in ARR while leading the team at focused on growing’s affiliate revenue.’s group verification clients are primarily in the ecommerce, telecommunications, automotive, and ticketing industries. An ideal candidate will have an ecommerce background and the intellectual ability to adapt product marketing needs to adjacent industries. This role will accountable for our group verification, platform and affiliate program revenue, and for leading B2C marketing efforts across channels – email, social, SEO, and paid marketing.

    This individual will be a strong communicator, with a knack for distilling complex ideas and technology with simplicity and clarity. The ideal candidate will be able to guide high-level strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to support the team with day-to-day



    B2B Sales

    • Own the P&L for group verification and market place. Meet revenue and profitability targets set forth in the plan.
    • Close sales opportunities with blue-chip brands in target verticals including travel for in-person meetings at prospect headquarters, RFP response, and cross-functional internal engagement to align resources to opportunities.
    • Coach, develop and manage an inside sales and affiliate marketing team.
    • Work with marketing to iterate demand generation strategies and collateral based on market feedback.

    B2C Marketing

    • Drive performance for platform and affiliate marketing program.
    • Develop custom marketing programs for key retail accounts to drive end-user usage of our technology with military, students, teachers, first responders, and other niche communities.
    • Drive user engagement & retention, looking at the end-to-end customer experience across all touch points. Manage strategic user communications.
    • Lead strategic user acquisition and engagement campaigns.
    • Manage B2C marketing budget and measure ROI of B2C marketing initiatives, critically evaluate success and facilitate continual improvement



    General Management

    • Act as GM for group verification and affiliate business, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth of the business
    • Promote learning and data-driven mindset within team to seek to optimize and improve efficiency with every sales pitch and marketing initiative.
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of broader company initiatives. This role partners closely with all departments – B2B marketing, product, engineering, member support, finance.



    • Deep understanding of ecommerce and B2B SaaS sales.
    • B2C/Direct consumer marketing experience.
    • 10+ years of well-rounded management experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on sales and marketing.
    • Demonstrated success at a startup of 10+ people
    • Strong track record of successful leadership, demand generation, sales and marketing, and relationship management.
    • Experience working with a variety of sales and marketing functions, including branding and messaging to different target audiences.
    • Proficiency at all aspects of email marketing, online advertising, and working with the press and other media.
    • Capable of managing an external marketing agency.
    • Bachelor's degree, MBA is preferred
