Security Operations Engineer

Overview is looking for a Security Operations Engineer (SecOps, DevSecOps) to add to our rapidly growing security team. We are seeking a talented SecOps engineer who enjoys the challenges of planning, implementing, and upgrading security measures and controls to include Security Information and Event Management (SEIM) tools, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and other associated tools.


  • Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destruction
  • Identify abnormalities and report violations using security tools such as a SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and more
  • Respond immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis
  • Assist in performing vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments
  • Train fellow teammates in security awareness, protocols and procedures
  • Oversee and monitor routine security administration


  • 5+ years of experience in information security
  • 2+ years of experience in incident response and/or threat hunting
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
  • Bonus: Experience with security automation (Chef, Inspec, Jenkins)
  • Bonus Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, and/or Ruby)
  • Industry security certifications, such as GCIH/ECIH, Security+, or related is a venture backed company in hyper-growth. We have had negligible business customer churn since inception, and we almost always significantly upsell and cross-sell accounts after establishing a relationship.
